Game 1:  Al Rejniak threw a complete game, allowing just one earned run and struck out 11.  The Beavers led 2-1 in the top of the 9th when the MudHens loaded the bases with no outs, assisted by a Milwaukee error.  Rejniak struck out the next 2 batters and had two strikes on the next guy, but a bases clearing double put the Mudhens ahead 4-2.  The Beavers scored their runs on RBI singles from Tim Garceau and Garrick Day in the 4th and 5th inning to take the 2-1 lead.

Game 2:  Joey Hodkiewicz shutout the MudHens and a 6-run rally in the 6th broke up a 0-0 game as the Beavs went on to win 9-0.  Joe was efficient, surrendering 6-hits, struck out 2 and walked one.  The Beavers had just 3 hits in a 0-0 game, until the 6th inning, where they used 6 hits and sent 12 men to the plate to score 7 runs.  Garrick Day went 2-4 and is 4-8 in the series.  Brett Youngbeck went 3-5 with 2 runs and an RBI.  Mike Schroeder had 2 hits and Rob Tschimperle had 2 RBIs.

The 3rd and final game is set for Wednesday night at 7pm on PNC at the Rock Sports Complex.
